Lil’ Printing
One of my mentors and professors at MassArt, Fish McGill, invited me to be a teaching assistant for his new class Lil’ Printing after seeing my work with the Garment Printing Club and other projects I’d been involved in. Usually, assistants support courses they’ve already taken, teaching underclassmen—but this class was different. No one had taken it before, and it quickly became one of the most anticipated Communications Design elective classes during registration. Nearly everyone enrolled ended up being my peer, almost all of them seniors at the same time I was, making it a rare and special experience within the Communication Design department.
My passion for graphic editing and silkscreen printing has opened many doors for me at MassArt and beyond. Through opportunities like The Triennial and The Boston Art Review, I’ve built meaningful connections and found a community that continually reminds me why I love making art—it’s been deeply fulfilling on both a creative and personal level.
