Garment Printing Club
The Garment Printing Club is a club I began at MassArt in 2022, the first semester of my college experience. With such a passion for silkscreen but the studios closed off to non-majors, I knew I needed to recitfy the system.
The club has grown exponentially, becoming one of the most attended student-run and organized clubs at MassArt. Since beginning the club I have been the sole teacher for graphic design, silkscreen pre-production, silkscreen technique and burning screens.
Between school and time constraints with studio space, typically I will burn all of the member’s screens during the week to be ready for the club meeting. This is not to say my members miss out on that part of the process if they’re interested in learning, I always make time to teach newcomers the full process outside of class.
